Parking at San Jose International Airport (SJC)

At SJC, Economy Lot 1 is closed temporarily. However, their Terminal lots are open, including:

Accessible Parking in Hourly Lots 2 & 3
All of these parking garages have the same rates across the board. They begin at $2 for every 20 minutes, culminating in a flat fee of $18 per day. These fees are temporary due to Covid-19. During this pandemic, even though the Economic Lot is closed, all patrons of the airport will enjoy the Economic Lot rates in every parking garage on-site.
For dropping off and picking up passengers, vehicles may stop curbside to load or unload. However, no parking is allowed curbside, nor is any vehicle allowed to be left unattended at any time. If curbside wheelchair access is needed, please contact your airline ahead of time.
SJC does not offer Valet Parking at this time.
For electric vehicles, SJC offers free charging stations in two of their lots. You can find these stations on the first level of the Hourly Lot 2 (Terminal A Garage) or next to Terminal B in the Hourly Lot 5. While charging your vehicle is free, all parking rates for the airport apply.
However, through On Air Parking, we have found the lowest parking rate at or around SJC for a mere $7.50 a day! This lot is located at a satellite lot to SJC that offers free shuttle services to and from the airport. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time before takeoff! Booking your parking through us ensures one less headache at the terminal, which frees your time to search for your airline and your gate, and not your parking.

Where to Stay in San Jose
We have a few suggestions for you about where to stay during your trip to San Jose, with hotels located extremely close to SJC. First, we have the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport. This hotel is only 0.8 miles from SJC, is pet friendly, and offers free breakfast. The Hyatt is devoted to bringing you both luxury and affordability and gets you free shuttle service to and from SJC.
Our next choice would be the Comfort Suites Airport, exactly 1 mile away from the airport. This hotel also offers free breakfast as well as a complimentary shuttle to and from SJC. However, this hotel is not pet friendly.
The Holiday Inn San Jose – Silicon Valley is another choice at only 1.1 miles away from the airport. This hotel offers free shuttle services to and from SJC and conference rooms, blackout curtains, and room service. The Holiday Inn San Jose is also not pet friendly.
Our final choice on where to stay in San Jose would be the Extended Stay America – San Jose – Downtown. This hotel is only 0.9 miles from SJC, is pet friendly, and boasts that kids stay free! Extended Stay America offers grab-and-grow breakfast as well with offerings such as muffins, breakfast bars, hot cereal, tea, and of course, coffee.

San Jose Fine Dining
If you're looking for a fantastic place to dine in San Jose, look no further than Manresa, the restaurant of James Beard 2020 Semi-Finalist for Outstanding Chef David Kinch. This eatery is down the road a bit in Los Gatos, but it's only an 11-minute drive from San Jose proper. The menu consists of fabulous foods such as salmon rillette, lobster, and whole roasted duck.
Reservations must be made at Manresa either online or by phone. There is a dress code here, which is business casual. While jackets are not required, they are appreciated for the gentlemen. Manresa does not allow athletic wear, shorts, hats, or flip flops in the restaurant at all. You'll want to make sure you're appropriately dressed before you go on a night on the town.
If you're looking for something a little more laid back, try Back A Yard a try. This restaurant is listed as The Michelin Plate: Good Cooking on Michelin Guide's page for excellent San Jose restaurants. This is a Caribbean restaurant with tender jerk chicken, fish fillets, coconut rice, and fried plantains. You'll not be in want of flavor here!
