Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)

The Main Garage at ORD has two price ranges for parking, one for hourly parking on Level 1, the other for daily parking on Levels 2-6. This garage is conveniently located adjacent to the Terminals. However, ORD does not recommend extended overnight stays, as prices are much higher than the Economy Lots.
For hourly parking at the Main Garage Level 1, the prices are as follows:

For daily parking at the Main Garage Levels 2-6, the prices are as follows:

| 8-24 hours - $42 |
Two other daily lots with the same pricing as the main garage's daily parking are Lot B and Lot C, located adjacent to the Main Garage. Both of these lots are perfect for accommodating oversized vehicles. Lot B can accommodate vehicles up to 9'0", while Lot C can accommodate vehicles up to 8'5". These lots accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Diners Club, Discover, or Carte Blanche. If parking for longer than 30 days, arrangements must be made with O'Hare's Parking Garage Office to avoid your car being booted or towed at your own expense.
International Lot D is directly across from International Terminal 5 of ORD. These prices are the same as the hourly parking at the Main Garage Level 1 posted above. ORD does not recommend this lot for extended overnight stays, as pricing is expensive, and it is only intended for short-term parking.
ORD offers two Economy Lots to provide passengers with affordable long-term parking options. Economy Lot F is a covered parking option and is located on floors 4 and 5 of the Multi-Modal Facility. Only credit cards are accepted in this lot.
The rates for Economy Lot F are as follows:

| 4-24 hours - $22 |
The lowest rate for parking anywhere at ORD is at the Economy Lot G. This lot is directly north of the International Terminal 5, and rates are $3 up to the first hour, and from 1 to 24 hours, an incredible $14 a day! This is by far and away your lowest option for parking anywhere at O'Hare.
Both of O'Hare's Economy Lots have a courtesy shuttle that takes passengers to and from ORD.
Hotels near O'Hare
ORD has a convenient on-site hotel, the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport Hotel. This hotel is situated directly across Terminals 1, 2, and 3, within walking distance to the Domestic Terminals. For the most remarkable ease and comfort, this hotel is your best option. There are several other area hotels near ORD, such as the 21c Museum Hotel Chicago, the AC Hotel Chicago Downtown, the Ace Hotel Chicago, the Allegro Chicago, and the Best Western Grant Park Hotel.
Fine Dining in Chicago
If you're looking for luxurious food while in the windy city, look no further than Alinea. This restaurant has received a Three Michelin Star rating and offers three different dining experiences: the Kitchen Table, the Gallery Menu, and the Salon Menu. All of these experiences require reservations, so book your meal ahead of time. Alinea charges per person rather than per dish, and the dress code is "smart casual." Please avoid ripped jeans or baseball caps. Jackets are not required, but many patrons do wear them.
Chicago also boasts several James Beard Semi-Finalists of 2020 for Best Chef: Great Lakes. Lee Wolen is one of these semi-finalists who offers his talents at a restaurant named Boka. Not only that, but Chef Wolen has also earned himself a Michelin Star for 2015, 2016, and 2017 consecutively. This restaurant is also by reservation only and offers a chef's choice tasting menu from which you will enjoy your meal. Dress smart for Boka as well but take or leave the jacket.
If you'd like a taste of something different, try Momotaro. A restaurant voted as Michelin's Best Japanese Restaurant in Chicago for 2018 and features James Beard Semi-Finalist for Best Chef: Great Lakes 2020, Chef Gene Kato. This menu features Japanese classics such as miso soup, edamame, sashimi, and sushi rolls. Not only is this menu traditionally Japanese, so too is the atmosphere, sure to make you think you have traveled to Tokyo and not Chicago. Do not miss this fabulous restaurant and the superb menu offered by renowned Chef Gene Kato!
