Parking at Denver International Airport (DEN)
The Denver Airport offers a wide variety of parking options for the convenience of any traveler. We’ve created a quick breakdown of all of the different options. DEN offers two lots for Garage parking - East and West. Garage parking is offered at a rate of $28 per day or $5 an hour.
Both Garage East and West have five levels consisting of both covered and uncovered parking. Garage East offers a total of 5 hybrid vehicle spots and charging stations while Garage West boasts a total of 15 hybrid vehicle spots and charging stations. The distance to the airport terminals is about 5 to 10 minutes. It’s important to note that there is no shuttle service available from garage parking, so make sure you wear your walking shoes.
For the more cost conscious traveler, DEN also offers Economy parking. Economy parking will cost about $17 per day or $5 an hour, with the rate dropping down to $15 a day after the third day. There is a free shuttle service from both Economy East and Economy West, with a travel time of about 7 minutes to the airport terminals.
The 61st and Peña parking area is what most would consider a steal at only $6 per day or $3 for up to 12 hours. This parking lot is available on a first come, first served basis and is pre-pay only. Shuttle service is NOT available at this location, but you do have the option of taking the A line commuter rail for a fee of $10.50 to the airport.
DEN also normally has two shuttle lots available. At a rate of $2 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of $8 per day, this is DEN’s most economical parking option. At this time, the Pikes Peak shuttle lot is open while the Mt. Elbert lot remains closed until further notice.
Accessible parking is available in all parking lots. Anyone using these spaces must have an approved disabled parking placard or designated license plate. Normal parking fees apply.

While there is no free breakfast option, the hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle to the airport.
Another great option is the Hampton Inn Denver-International Airport. Conveniently located 6 miles from DEN, the hotel offers free WiFi and will gladly accommodate your service animal. There is free breakfast and a complimentary airport shuttle available, but service is operating on a modified schedule. It’s best to check with the front desk when you check in. On-site parking is also available at a rate of $7.
Finally, if you’re looking for a more basic, but comfortable hotel, the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Airport DIA is another great choice. This hotel is just 9 miles from DEN and features free breakfast along with the option of an early check-in time. You can check-in via the mobile app and complimentary airport shuttle operates from 4 a.m. to midnight for your convenience. Free WiFi is also available and your furry friends are welcome at this hotel.
Fine Dining in Denver, CO

You won’t have a hard time finding something for everyone here!
Stepping away from the airport scene, Barolo Grill is an upscale Italian restaurant that is sure to please. Featured in Wine Spectator magazine, this eatery combines delicious and authentic Italian cuisine with a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere. Serving up a unique tasting dining experience, guests choose 4 courses from different categories. Each guest is served an appetizer, main and second course, and dessert. Wine can be paired with the experience for an additional cost. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Next, Fruition is a fine dining experience that will definitely delight. Serving fresh, farm-to-table New American cuisine, a variety of options are available. The dinner menu features starters such as a unique chicken liver mousse. The main menu will give guests delectable selections such as shrimp and grits or dry aged duck breast. Check out the menu online before you visit as the menu options change regularly. Dine-in seating begins at 5pm Tuesday-Saturday and reservations are not required, but recommended.
Lastly, if seafood and steaks are more your speed, you’ll love Ocean Prime. Located in downtown Denver’s Larimer Square, this upscale restaurant is sure to satisfy. Not only is there an impressive selection of seafood available, but you’ll also find pork chops, chicken, lamb and steak on the menu. For special occasions, the second Denver location at Denver Tech Center offers private dining rooms perfect for a business dinner or special celebration. Reservations are very much encouraged, especially if you will be dining with a larger party.
