Whether you're on vacation for two weeks or merely taking a day trip, come and see the ample parking options that are available to you.
If you need quick and convenient access to Terminals A, B, C, and E, look no further than the Central Parking Garage. Pedestrian bridges give this lot easy access to all terminals on Level 4. The rates for Central Parking break down as follows:
First hour - $8 |
1-2 hours - $21 |
2-3 hours - $26 |
3-4 hours - $30 |
4-7 hours - $34 |
7-24 hours - $38 |
If you are staying longer than one day, the rates break down as follows:
- 1 day + 0-6 hours - $57
- 1 day + 6-24 hours - $76
- Every additional day - $38
- Every additional day 0-6 hours - $19
If you lose your parking ticket, there is an added $5 fee. Cars entering Terminal B will be searched for security purposes, even the trunk. There is no backing into parking spaces in Terminal B. Terminal E Lot 2 is often used as needed for parking overflow. Attendants will be present to help direct you while parking.
There are parking spaces available in the Central Parking Garage for electric and hybrid vehicles. For hybrid cars, there are 79 spaces on Parking Level 6. There are four charging points in the northeast section of the lot for electric cars and four charging points in the lot's southeast area, all on Parking Level 6.
Economy Parking at BOS is unfortunately closed until further notice. All parking at BOS proper will need to be through the Central Parking Garage. There is another parking garage located off-site, however, and that is the Logan Express Farmington Garage.
Located at 11 Burr Street Extension in Framington, MA 01760, this garage is home to the Logan Express bus, which stops at all Terminals for BOS. Travel between the Terminal and the parking lot is about 30-45 minutes, so make sure you plan accordingly and add some extra breathing room during rush hour.
There is a fare for riding this bus, and these fees are as follows:
- One-Way Fare for Adult - $12
- Round Trip Fare for Adult - $22
- One-Way Fare for Seniors (65+) - $11
- Round Trip Fare for Seniors (65+) - $20
- All children 17 and under are free with family
- Ticket books with ten one-way trips are available for $75. However, only one ticket can be used per trip.
They accept all MasterCard, AmEx, Visa, and Diners Club cards. This fantastic deal considering the Economy Parking is closed. You'll want to take advantage of this price.
Parking for electric cars is available in this garage as well. There are 11 spaces for hybrids and vehicles which run on alternative fuel and four for electric cars to charge. Busses to the Terminal with wheelchair access will be made available with advance 24-hour notice.
WiFi and Charging Stations at BOS
BOS provides free WiFi throughout the entire airport, as well as charging stations in various seating areas. Charging your phone, iPad, or laptop should be no problem at all.
Hotels at Boston Logan's Doorstep
If you're looking to stay close to the airport proper, look no further than the Hilton Boston Logan Airport or the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor. The Hilton is on airport property and connected to Terminals A and E via an enclosed sky bridge for easy walking access to your room. The other Terminals offer a free 24-hour shuttle to the hotel a very short distance away.
The Hyatt, however, is not on airport property but offers a 24-hour shuttle to and from BOS. This hotel is located on Boston Harbor, with fabulous views and access to the MBTA Train and a Water Taxi.
Fine Dining in Boston
Hungry? Look no further than these James Beard 2020 semi-finalists in Boston. Best New Restaurant goes to an establishment known as Fox & the Knife. This restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Karen Akunowicz, a James Beard winner in 2018 for Best Chef: Northeast. The fare she offers at Fox & the Knife is inspired by a trip she took to Modena, Italy. She has built her restaurant around the spirit of aperivito, which means a gathering place where friends come together to enjoy great company and fantastic food. The Fox & the Knife will not disappoint.
Grill 23 & Bar is the James Beard 2020 semi-finalist for the Outstanding Wine Program, but they have so much more than fine wine. Their menu is comprised of shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, filet mignon, and Kobe steak. For a more American flavor, look no further than this.
